Thank you for your kind comment Amanda I look forward to talking jewellery and stuff with you. I'm new on here so still finding myself about. I haven't been on folksy long and I have masses to upload but my health prevents me from time to time so I work when I can. xxx
I'm so impressed with all these listings you are doing, my jewellery has been on hold whilst i've been busy with my day job and producing some illustration work. Hopefully I can get back into it soon. I love the ceramic pieces you have shown during the past couple of days.
hello amanda! just in case you don't know you are my lucky winner of my printed treats!!! hooray well done! www.heartzeena.blogspot.com for details yay! lovely work too! xxx
Thats not nearly as steep as I'd expected; I'll keep you updated when I organise to attend one... (I might need to harvest some more of your excellent advice - thanks Amanda!)
That's exactlyy what I was thinking; as I say, as I trade mostly on Etsy I'm a bit short on local contacts to share info, etc, with (which is why I'm so glad to have found this site!). I believe I'll have to go about organising public liability insurance to start selling at fairs though which I hope won't be too difficult to arrange...
Thanks for the pointer Amanda, I'm off to check it out now! I haven't traded at any craft shows yet but I'm hoping to attend at least one at the end of the year... its a bit daunting though.
Good idea, but tbh I'm not sure what I'm doing so to speak on here yet. Still kind of finding my way around....a few more hours int he day would be good too ;)
Hi Amanda, I'm not the organiser (just trying to spread the word a bit!) so your best bet would be to come down and have a word with the organiser on the day. It's not far from St Clements so if anyone could man your stall for 10 minutes you should come and say hello.
Well in that case you'll do just fine. I'd hate to be a perfectionist learning to spin! It is possible with practice to turn out perfect wool but I've never wanted to do that either.

good luck with the spinning when you find a wheel, I think you'll love it. Don't expect perfect yarn right away (if ever!) just keep practicing and enjoy it,

Hi again. Did leave a couple of comments on the forums over the weekend... suppose its easy to get swamped by all the busy-ness on there though. But thank you for the reminder - know that this is really the only way of properly getting to know folk. But at the mo, just enjoying exploring and seeing the amazing work by so many talented artisans on here - wow, quite a showcase. :0)
Hi Amanda. I'm a newbie here too so thought I'd just stop by and say Hi! And, as instructed (LOL), have been watching your photo slide show for .... well quite a while! Oh gosh, I just loooove your jewellery - its so organic and those rich deep colours and textures. Wonderful! Good to meet you and hope you are enjoying exploring on here too.
