I was in desperate need for a large workbasket that could accomodate different types of projects and the paraphanalia that is needed for each craft.
Running out of time, I remembered that one of the supermarkets did an eco friendly jute bag in a nice large size. First visit to said supermarket, no jute bags at the till.
Next visit to the supermarket and it was hubby who remembered about the bag and found one on the checkout station.

I made a cotton inner lining to the bag's dimensions and made the types of pockets I would need including spaces for knitting and crochet needles so they could be kept seperate and not all bunched at the bottom of the bag. I added another lining in super stiff interfacing which helps keep the whole bag from folding in on itself.

Finally I tied them together using some fimo buttons I made which were not good enough to put on garments and glued some felt along the bottoms where the supermarket puts it's logo.

Et viola! I have packed a knitting, a crochet and an applique project for travelling on holiday, and there is still room for any crafting items I may "just have to purchase" while away.
