Supporting and promoting the best UK artists, designers and makers

Hi All

I have been making jewellery using Semi-precious beads, they are great to work with but can be a bit expensive.  Can't decide if the blue goes well with the silver or if I should go with a darker finding.

Might change the findings on one and see how it looks.

Not had much time for crafting this week so hope to get loads done over the coming week. I hate not making something, I feel as if I have been lazy even though I've been busy with other things!

I went to a Craft Club day on Friday, we really good.  I now know how to finger knit, was not sure about it at first but really getting into it.  Think I might give it a go tonight while I am chilling with my hubby and see what happens.  If you get chance to go to a Craft Club day in your area I would recommend giving it a go - well worth it.

Take care

Judi

Stay with the silver findings it looks lovely with the deep rich blue of the Lapis Lazuli. I have not heard of craft clubs are they nation wide. I make and sell handcrafted jewellery here and I love to work with semi-precious stones as even if you repeat the same design each piece is slightly different because of the differences in the natural stones. Well done it looks lovely
