Upcycled fabric heart brooch tutorial
I have blogged a tutorial for a simple, but pretty, handmade heart brooch over on my blog.
They make a great gift for valentines. Or you could make one for yourself to brighten up a jacket or cardigan. Alternatively you could make a batch of them to use as favors at an eco-themed wedding. Hi everyone,
If you're a mother of a young daughter then I'm sure you'll know just how much they love to dress up.
Instead of buying another princess/fairy dress I decided to make one using the top of one of my daughter's old dresses, and fabric from her bedroom valance * which hadn't been used in about a year *.
What made this dress quite different is that I made an overlay - or apron - to wear over the dress. It was made out of pale pink silk…
