Saddleworth Vintage and Handmade Fair

Myself and Sam Mills, an internationally exhibited jeweller, came together with a vision of a Festival in the local area celebrating the Jubilee - encouraging all local businesses, shops etc to get involved with the highlight being a Vintage and Handmade Fair in the centre of the Village. Not only is the weekend the Jubilee weekend BUT is also host to the White Friday Walks and Famous Band Contests - so footfall will be good.

Only a short distance away from my home in the New Forest, you arrive at England's remarkable Jurassic Coast, the cliffs and beaches of which trace 100 million years of history.  This stunning coastline was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in December 2001, but it is not…

ARG!

Ahahaha I love my mother in law, really, I do.

She calls me at 6pm this evening to say that she's booked a table at a boot fair this Sunday and would I like to bring my crafts along to try and sell a few?

YES!  But...

I don't even have enough finished items to fill a basket!

So, frantically sewing all evening, and most of tomorrow, as we need to leave for hers tomorrow evening at the latest, and my sewing machine is playing up.  I could really have…

Desperately seeking good craft fairs!

Hello there! Im a new member & would love to join a group from the South West if there is one?! Im desperately trying to find good craft fairs to sell at in my area. Any suggestions? Im a bit tired of turning up at a fair only to find a handful of "crafters" & the rest are stalls selling cheap rubbish imported from China! Does anyone else have this problem? Id love to hear from you as all your experience will help me build up my business! Thanks Sarah x
