I use a lot of different social networking sites to publicise my work, network and share ideas. I'm really interested in finding out which sites you believe are most effective at driving visits and sales in your online stores.
I'm running a poll on my blog:
Please visit, follow the instructions on my blog, vote and enter into a draw to win these earrings.…

I have a question for everyone.
1) When buying photographic prints to HANG, do you prefer a border, or the image to go right to the edge of the print?
In the past I have always sold my prints with a border as it then makes it easier to have them framed within a window mount.
As I am in the process of ordering and listing new prints, I thought it would be a good time to ask.

Just thought I'd do a quick post to say hello to those of you who know me and introduce myself to those who don't.
Hi, I'm Talie from North Yorkshire and I work from home whilst bringing up my four children.
I hand-stitch all my own designs which I then turn into greetings cards and framed pictures which I then attempt to sell online. I have been doing the cards for a while and have been quite successful on Etsy, Folksy and Misi but I have only recently been putting my framed… Continue

I woke up this morning to a sale in my misi store http://Panic-Tuesday.misi.me.uk
I sold one of my cute re-cycled glass bottles which I decorated with wire and beads.
I was feeling a bit down, as I havent had a sale for a while and only ever seem to be listing items.
I have two more of these bottles, they are listed in my Folksy store http://snowqueentrinkets.folksy.com
Hope everyone is enjoying what is left… Continue

I’ve just posted the Funky Chicken game on my publishing blog. It’s a party/rainy day game for the whole family and it’s very, very silly. It’s great for you crafty parents too as you can get the glue and scraps of fabric out.
Here’s the link http://www.ziegel.co.uk/page2.htm
There are other party games on on my blog too, if you happen to have a birthday party coming up.
