Hi Anna, The photos can be hard. Like I said I found the backgrounds detracted from the product but that's just my personal opinion. Bags are tricky to photograph. I like how Poppy Treffry photographs her products - http://www.notonthehighstreet.c

Hi Jenni! This sounds like a great idea. I'm getting married soonish and have struggled to find a one stop shop for unique handmade accessories and decorations. You have to shop around ALOT if you don't want the usual fayre!! Good luck! Shelley x

About Me

By day I am a product designer - designing mass produced items for the big High Street guys - it pays the mortgage!

But in my spare time I have re-discovered the joy of craft and sewing!

After stumbling across Flickr by accident I have discovered a whole world of like-minded people and enjoy the "digital" side of crafting as much as the making itself.

So eve since being bought my first sewing machine for christmas I have posted photos of my work on flickr (the beauty is in the detail), Started a blog (click here) and set up a store on Folksy (click here).

Am hoping to start selling properly - if I can find the time to make enough (I seem to give everything away to friends and family as quickly as I can make things!).

I live in Kent - near Maidstone.

I'm almost finished my degree now, and really need to find a real job, but the way things are right now, I think it's going to be very hard! So thats why i'm making my own stuff, hopefully trying to sell as much as i can!
