Welcome to Scene Elemental!

Hello from Scene Elemental

We are a small design & making team. We make a wide variety of unique objects, including jewellery & clothing. We use tradtional & more modern methods, but everything is most definately HAND made. We have lively enquiring minds and are always interested in learning new skills & mastering new challenges. Our skills already include (but are not limited to) all forms of wood working (but wood carving is a particular favourite), calligraphy (in a variety of styles), silversmithing (but copper is soooo nice), lapidary (that means we can shape stones to set in jewelery), dress (or do I mean costume) making, and we looking at trying some leather carving & braiding.

Wherever practical we embrace green ethics.

When I lived in Wiltshire I used to visit Bristol often...now it's a bit far from Northants!

Bristol & District Lapidary Society

Hi there,Tim & I have just joined the Bristol & District Lapidary Society, they are really nice people, based in the heating room under a school! Aparently they normally run a craft fair in Keynsham at the beginning of December. They don't make much money from the event after paying for the rent of the hall. Most of their profit comes from the food and drink they provide. This year the rental of the hall has gone up & they have no one to volunteer to man the kitchen.Scene set...does…See More
