Hello there
I'm Tracey and love to make things. I live in North Devon and am lucky enough to be 5 minutes away from the beach. So far I've been following patterns and tutorials from other very clever and talented crafters and have been particularly inspired by the work of Natalie Chanin (her book Alabama Chanin is seriously drool-worthy). Natalie does amazing things with recycled T-shirts - I made the fantabulous pin-cushion from a pattern in her book. This has inspired me to focus on using recycled materials. I am now starting to (eeek) branch out on my own and develop my own projects through more than a little bit of trial and error. It's based on my book Birthday Party which offers a refreshing antidote to the pressures of birthday party one-upmanship - make use of things you already have around the house rather than spending loads of cash. Oh and I'm also doing a Part Time degree in ceramics and currently make very lovely wonky pots.
