Summer Hobo Bag

Hi everyone

I've just joined today and would like to share my creations with you.

My name is Lynda and I live in the Scottish Borders, where I have been making jewellery, sewing bags and some other handmade crafts.

I've set up an online shop with Folksy and have been filling it up with my creations such as my summer hobo bag, which I completed last night.

I would love to hear from other like minded souls about their creations and success stories of online…

Thanks Lynda

I'm going to check out folksy, its hard work getting noticed, I've found I have to spend at least 2 hrs daily updating everything, plus writing a blog. It hardly leaves time for making the things that you want to sell in the 1st place!

Hi Lynda,

sorry I didnt reply sooner, didn't have a very good day yesterday, I only set up my web site a week ago and getting traffic to it is hard work, I wish i knew the secret, don't know as yet if it will be succesful.

is your folksy shop doing well ? I might give it a try.

Thanks Linda,

I love your bag, I just hope that my scarves live up to other peoples creations, I have seen some amazing work on this site.

I set up my own website at bananablossomyarn.webplus.net I am a novice at web design, so if you do look and you spot any mistakes, as I am sure there are a few, feel free to let me know.

Although I live in scotland I am not scottish (please dont hold it against me), my husband is.

I have Fibromyalgia, and to raise awareness & support I am donating 25% of all purple scarves sold to UK Fibromyalgia.

Nice to talk to you.

Karen Rankin.
