Hello Welsh crafters, I haven't been on here for ages and fancied a chat, are we still crafting? I've got a craft fair on the 21st this month if anyone is near Cowbridge, and my big news, Beads and Beyond are printing one of my necklaces this month…
I have to say a HUGE thanks to magicpumpkinsandfaerydust, that wool shop, In Stitches, was fabulous, as was Llandeilo, luckily it rained on Wednesday, so we went exploring, and had a fab lunch at The Angel Hotel (lush chips with beans and cheese mel…
I know, i know i've left it too late, but if any of you wonderful welsh folk are on line, we're taking the van over to the gower for half term, and was wondering if there were any good wool/craft shops over that way, possibly in Swansea?
Hey all, i've just got a website (a friend wanted practise, how lucky) and i would be really glad of your opinions. I still need to add more images (still waiting for the sun to take some photos) and am still struggling with adding verious bits, but…
Good luck with the caerleon one, i'll pop over and see you!
I've only done 2, one at Cowbridge, just a small one in the townhall, buts its a lovely posh town with beautiful shops, i did ok there, and i did one at Tredegar house, which was awful, i o…
Hi,
sorry I don't know any craft or wool shops Swansea way, there's one in Llandeilo called in stitches, they do a nice variety of wools and ribbons, buttons, some fabrics (mainly for quilting)...
And Llandeilo has lots of lovely shops and a great cafe with lovely yummy cakes, so the town is really worth a visit.
LOL! That's the trouble with selling things online, you have to check your email to see if you've had a sale and then before you know it, a couple of hours have gone!!
LOL!! I've got one degree in history and that is enough! I did do a City & Guilds in Patchwork and Quilting to keep me occupied once my youngest son started school but apart from that I just play around... and spend far too long on the computer...
Yes it is, isn't it? Because I've got three sons (now teenagers), until now I've mainly only known people online so it makes a change to meet local folk too!
Hi Jane, thank you for the comment on my photo. Your jewellery pieces are very detailed and beautiful. I'm left handed too, if you can master crochet you could get knitting too. I'm still working at the crochet - I can do straight rows, my aim this year is to master crochet!
