i have now contacted them ... thankyou eveyone with their help ! i dont want to set up a credit card just because im a student and i think it could be dangerous !!he he fingers crossed ill have a shop soon :)
Hmmm, I thought you only needed a debit card too. Is there anything about it in the help pages? Or maybe you could try the "contact" button at the bottom and ask them? I'm on both Folksy and Etsy, more sales so far on Folksy but have only been listi…
i jsut cant set it up with out a credit card. i try using my debit card but it wont work ... so sad :(
Hi I'm on Etsy and have been selling, I actually have two shops but I tend to promote one more than the other.
You don't need a credit card, I thought this and it put me off for ages but you only need a debit card.

Both websites are quite similar, you will need to list products quite often or hqve something very different and promote, promote, promote, in order to make sales... or selling supplies

I have paid for 2 showcases on etsy and i would of said i didn't get much more views from that either...... I really don't know where i am going wrong???? any ideas????

How have showcases worked out for you? I sell mostly on etsy (although things have been spookily quite for a while now) first sale in weeks this morning and that was a half price sale item! not that I'm complaining :o)

I am on both Etsy and Folksy..... I HAVE OVER 100 HEARTS ON ETSY BUT NO SALES..... which i found very strange..... I have 103 favorites on folksy and 10 sales but most of them have been buttons at 50p each, so i am struggling a bit on both..........…

Hello , welcome to Crinkled.
I’m Emily and currently studying an Applied Arts degree.
Any spare time i get I'm making, cutting and sticking. My course is a mixture of textiles, ceramics and drawing.
These aspects i love bringing into the items i sell. I love making and have just began setting up a selection of my favourite designs to sell, so please have a sneaky peek! I also do commissions. I create handmade cards with materials and beads i have collected. To me there is nothing better than opening a beautiful hand crafted card on that special occasion
. I believe that we should embrace craft again and support designer makers. I feel that handmade items are so much more special than brought and mass produced things.
