Comment by Gail Cadogan on January 16, 2013 at 12:41 Hi Folks, I am a newbie to this group so am just introducing myself. I am Gail and I am based in Kinghorn Fife, I make and sell jewellery and home decor and papercrafts. I am also an independant demonstrator for Stampin Up which is an American company selling great papers and crafting goods. I have done a few craft Fairs around Edinburgh and Fife but am trying to increase my online sales too. Please visit my website.
I look forward to checking out some of your work too and sharing the peaks and troughs of crafting
Gail

Comment by Margaret Hamilton on May 14, 2012 at 21:19 Thank you girls. Have passed it in to my new friend who in her recent retirement has taken up patchwork and quilting. She is becoming addicted a remarkably fast rate.
Comment by Anne Omand on May 14, 2012 at 19:46 This is very timely. My old faithful pinking shears are now needing replacing, and I was just wondering the same thing. I have a pair of Mundial dressmaking scissors that I purchased on ebay recently and they are brilliant. I was not aware that they did pinking shears, so thanks for that Rona.
The best advice I was given, ages ago, by a Canadian quilter I know is to buy Ghinger or Mundial. But Fiskars and Kai are ok, too.
Comment by Margaret Hamilton on May 14, 2012 at 16:46 Someone was asking me what the best make of pinking shear was. Any advise??
Comment by Margaret Hamilton on May 9, 2012 at 14:52 Interesting, but I haven't been in Barra or Vattersay :(
