Is there such a thing as a craftaholic? well if there is I am one. I live in a small place called Langho in the beautiful Ribble valley and would love to meet other crafty folk for swapping ideas and for coffee, lots of coffee, mmm. I love textiles, I will attempt anything from soft sculpture to ball gowns, I have added photos of my lovely lady shed (studio) where I spend hours creating stuff.

My name is Elaine Redford and I live in Stockport with my artist partner and two cats. I took a voluntary redundancy in July 2011. I have recently set up my own business Lainey Events and Designs. The design bit is my own handmade cards, bags plaques boxes and albums. The  events part is setting up craft fairs. My ethos is the same as others I have read here on the  site. I only accept handmade  items and I ensure that there is a good mix of quality items and will only accept a maximum of 2 of same type. I am always looking for suitable venues and good quality crafts. It is  only a small business at the moment but I intend to expand with the help of quality crafters. Take a look at my website http://www.laineyeventsanddesigns.com or get in touch as I would be happy to near from you. Elaine

It gives me enormous please to announce that a good friend and I have collaborated and become business partners and have created Absolutely Handcrafted North West Craft Fairs.

A H has a strong ethos that craft fairs should mean that only genuine hand crafted items should be sold.

We will bring to the Skelmersdale, Ormskirk, Upholland, Orrell and other very local areas genuine craft fairs.

If you are a crafter and would like to know more please visit http://absolutelyhandcrafted.wordpress.com
