UK Handmade

Supporting and promoting the best UK artists, designers and makers

Hello to all members, I thought it would be nice to have somewhere on here for all Folksyers to congregate.

It would be great if everyone could introduce themself, and add a link to your Folksy shop, your blog if you have one and any other links like your Facebook page.
Then add a picture of one item you have on Folksy.

So I'll begin
I'm Janet aka Beadyjan
making and selling handmade beadwork jewellery

I must admit, I had been looking to move more of my business over to MISI once Folksy came out of beta and we were charged 5% comission but after listing a few new bits last night on both, I found MISI a nightmare to navigate so maybe I will stay with Folksy afterall. It is working well for me. I would really like to see shop sections though and a widget to plug into my website like Etsy and Misi have.
Lovely way to promote everbody's shops, I am enjoying looking! You are all very talented :O)
