Hi all you crafty people.

I make all kinds of textile and bead gifts, such as bags, tea towels, cards etc. You can see my work at:

Does anyone know of any good outlets in Essex, to sell handmade items?

I would really appreciate advice.

Hi everyone,

I'm a cross-stitcher and card maker in Leigh on Sea. I am running an event at work called 'Craft and Coffee', for crafters of all interests to bring along their current project, have a cuppa and a chat. I've attached the flyer if anyone is in or around Hockley/Hawkwell/Southend and is interested in coming along. I am also looking for people who would like to demonstrate and anyone who would like a stall at a craft marketplace event in July. Please get in touch for more info

Hi. If anyone is in, or around, the Maldon area in the next couple of weeks, you may (but probably not) be interested in an exhibition, albeit a mini one, at the Maeldune Heritage Centre. The necessary info is here: http://www.maelduneheritagecentre.co.uk/ I hope you can make it!

Hi, I wanted to let you all know about a craft group on Thursday nights. I say craft group, it's more like have lots of fun with tea and biscuits with a lovely group of people. So far i've been shown how to make a brooch, a diary cover and a snood! It's run by Lorraine (who is really friendly & lovely and is a great knitter) who shows us different little projects each week but you can basically do whatever you feel comfortable doing. So if you live nearby pop along and join in the fun. Kirstenx

Hi,
I was supposed to doing a demo for Deborah at the ETSY party but unfortunately have a degree tutorial right in the middle that evening(curses). Deborah is running a whole series of events during her craft month incuding a free workshop about selling with ETSY. The Crafts Council have collections on show in the gallery throughout October and the whole thing culminates with a 'craft Fair' and workshops on the 30th Oct. -should be interesting.
