Hi, I have just opened a handmade shop on Colchester High Street. It is stocked entirely with British artisan-made products and im using that as the shop's unique selling point. Handmade and 'Made in Britain' is huge at the moment and it's my intention to bring this to the High St.
For the last six years, I have run my own candlemaking business, and for the last year I have been selling my wares in a craft centre in Essex. After the success of this, I feel the time is now right to take this experience and bring something new and exciting to the High Street and make it more accessible. There has been a lot of positive feedback and the local press have run 2 stories on us already and we have 2 magazines - Craft Focus and Crafts Beautiful that will shortly be running articles on us.
I am looking for products that are artisan-made in the UK, and of course, they must be of the very best quality.
Information on the options I'm offering for stocking your products in the shop can be found on my blog here: http://handmadehighst.co.uk/index.php?main_page=about_us and you can email me at Maryann@handmadehighst.co.uk if you would like any more information. We opened on April the 28th and have had a great response, with over 75% of our sellers already having many sales.
Regards
Maryann
