Hi all handmade jewellery artists,

My index finger and thumb are sore and little swollen ..Past 2 days, I made too many wire loops and now I hve problem even typing this..Is there any protector I can wear before doing the wire work? Any suggestion wld be appreciated :)

Hello Yogy . . . a tricky one as you need to balance protection against feel!

If the soreness is localised to a small area Thimble It adhesive pads may help

(Also have a look at the customers also bought section below the main entry).

But if it is an overall pain / soreness / stiffness then I can't think of anything that will provide coverage but still allow you to work effectively. You'll have to reach for some Deep Heat or Proflex cream after the event!!!

Thanks for responding ..n for ur help:) ... wow! these finger pads r really cool...never heard of them before..n they seem comfortable as well. Ya, I did apply some cream and massaged them with olive oil..I hve rested them a little and now they r feelign better:)

Also, I hve ordered the tape tht will help me working thro wire work.
