UK Handmade

Supporting and promoting the best UK artists, designers and makers

Let's swap links to get our craft shops found in the internet!

Hi,

I just chatted with one clever IT guy/web site owner who told me that for a shop or a site to be found in the net you have to have lots of back links.

So let's swap links and promote each other's shops and sites.
I have started my People We Like -page on my site. To be added there post your image and link here.

Let's get busy!

Marja

Hi guys,

Thank you for all your links. I am now selling direct to the public in Etsy http://www.etsy.com/shop/LapengCrafts?ref=seller_info

This means much lower prices - square picture frames start from £7.50.<br />
I will be closing my shopfactory site soon but will recommend you all if I ever happen to open my own site again. Keep on swapping the addresses and Merry Christmas to you all!

Marja

ps. if you want to sell your products in an actual gift shop there are still spaces available in Mosaic. Owners are very nice and helpful. The rent for a 1ft section is only £17 + vat per month + 5% commission. If you are interested call Michael 07830 024508 or email enquiries@mosaic-gifts.co.uk. Please mention my recommendation, my seller number is 013. Thanks x

Another way to get backlinks is to have a "blog badge", so that people can snag it for their site - their visitors them come to visit you :-)
I've heard that. I have a links page on a new site / shop I have recently set up so I'll go through this forum and add links to it. If anyone wants to add mine it's :-
