For those who don't know me I am a artist and freelance illustrator from Cambridgeshire, I also make books and stationery and design websites (hence UK Handmade). With two young children in the house I am lucky to get any sleep but I wouldn't have it any other way!

Hi all, I am Amanda. I am a teddy bear artist from Kent but now live on the Causeway Coast in Northern Ireland. I have been designing and making for 14 years. My bears are made out of German mohair they are traditional in style they are made to look like a bear your grandmother would have had as a child. Hi I am Tracy, I was born in Salisbury, Rhodesia now known as Harare, Zimbabwe and always had a passion for all things glass. After moving to the UK in 2003 I ended up in North Wales, surrounded by the grandeur of nature all around! Never one to tread the worn paths and with a penchant for taking risks, I finally quit the day job and am achieving my dream of creating beautiful items out of glass.
I live in a 19th Century coaching inn with my two opinionated cats and fears I am well on the way to becoming a crazy cat lady! I am never happier than when walking on the Moelwyn mountains with my trusty companions Smudge and Ebony - except when I'm fusing glass of course!
