For those who don't know me I am a artist and freelance illustrator from Cambridgeshire, I also make books and stationery and design websites (hence UK Handmade). With two young children in the house I am lucky to get any sleep but I wouldn't have it any other way!

I live in Newcastle upon Tyne with my 2.5 year old daughter and husband and am the person behind www.giggleicious.com and www.giggleicious-photography.com. I started Giggleicious when I had my daughter as I was disillusioned by the lack of bright coloured clothes and toys for babies (things have changed a bit since then). I now focus on making one off designs and commissions and trying to catch up with my never ending to do list!!

hello - i live in SUNNY DEVON! with my partner and my two children {one teenage & one pre-schooler} our lovely dog Tess and the two guinea pigs.
i am a button addict and have a shop on ETSY - VINTAGEhaberdashery
and a shop on FOLKSY - vInTaGeVioLeT'sBuTtOnS
i'm also addicted to russian dolls and have an ever growing collection {which i also sell on ETSY}
craft wise i like to dabble in most things but have a very low attention span so really prefer making one off items,
i make cards, jewellery, altered art, a tiny bit of mini scrapbooking,felt softies and like taking part in swaps.
i spend way to much time online - on eBay and various craft forums oh and flicker which is where i found this new forum!

i'm a moderater on Crafter...oo forum which is great, after having a nasty experience of being bullied on uk crafts forum by one of the moderators there{he shall remain nameless} luckily i have a thick skin!

I'm really happy to be working as a designer-jeweller from my very cosy workshop in the garden, here in Bath. This means I can be around to supervise/ interfere in the lives of my 2 boys (11 and 8), which is great.

My business, Quercus Silver ,(I work in silver and resin) helps me continue to study and develop my work.

I started making crafts to sell over a year ago, i wanted to take a completely different direction with my life and it has been amazing! I adore fabric, buttons and am enjoying myself immensely:)
